Job Description
– Lead and manage the quality function across plants.– Ensure SOP implementation and adherence to quality management systems.– Oversee QA for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.– Establish and maintain 5S systems and in-process quality controls.– Drive compliance with factory standards and regulatory requirements.– Manage deviation handling and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).– Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.– Handle and resolve technical complaints from stakeholders.– Conduct audits, inspections, and continuous improvement programs.– Provide strategic input on quality excellence to senior leadership.
The Successful Applicant
– Experience: 10-15 years in quality management within steel or heavy manufacturing.– Strong expertise in auditing, SOPs, 5S systems, and quality assurance frameworks.– Proven ability in multi-plant quality operations management.– Hands-on experience in process improvement & deviation management.– Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.– Must be willing to be based near plant location
