Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for civil works (e.g., concrete, steel, aggregates, scaffolding).

  • Develop vendor diversification strategies and maintain approved vendor lists.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.

  • Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to forecast material requirements.

  • Align procurement timelines with construction schedules and milestones.

  • Resolve site-level procurement issues and escalate delays or quality concerns.

  • Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.

  • Support audits and reporting requirements.

  • Cost Optimization

  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations in civil materials.

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.

  • Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s in civil engineering with 10 years of Work experience altogether

  • Good experience in civil works.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
