Skill Requirements: –
A Civil Engineer in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) setting would play a crucial role in ensuring the design, construction, and maintenance of restaurant locations.
1. Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
2. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
3. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
4. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
5. Knowledge of QSR brand standards and design guidelines.
6. Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes.
Key Responsibility Area
7. Design and development of restaurant layouts, including site planning, structural design, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
8. Ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and brand standards.
9. Collaboration with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
10. Conducting site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues.
11. Reviewing and approving shop drawings and documents.
12. Experience in construction, architecture, or a related field, preferably in the QSR or retail industry.
