Job Role : Lead-Instrumentation-Site Design – (Oil & Gas projects)

Work Location: Saudi

Experience: 9- 16 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the instrumentation design activities at site, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Oversee preparation of instrumentation layout drawings, cable routing plans, hook-up diagrams, and instrument location plans.
• Perform detailed site surveys and develop design documentation for brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, piping, and mechanical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and designers.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Review and approve vendor documents, loop diagrams, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities at site.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, API) and project-specific requirements.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design review meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 9 16 years of relevant experience in instrumentation design, primarily in Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, control systems (DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA), and hazardous area classification.
