What Youll Be Doing (Position Summary):

As a Learning Specialist,Delivery (LSD) reporting to the Director,Learning Advisory, you will be using your deepexpertisein Facilitation to deliver learning sessions with impact to audiences across CIBC India through a variety of mediums and methodologies. Your sessions will be complex in nature,unique,and will shape the mindset and capability of a variety of audiences across the organization. You approach your day with an eye to the future and sharp focus on our clients, acting asa championfor change. You are lookedatas a Leader within the Delivery team and actively partner with peers and colleagues to help drive employee engagement, build employeecapabilityand foster our client focused culture.

How Youll Succeed (Responsibilities):

  • Adult Learning and Facilitation Skills– Deep understanding of adult education principles, expertfacilitationand presentation skills, understanding of team dynamics Through masterful facilitation and relationship building your deliveries will be best in class experience for those attending your sessionsYou willleverageyour own professional experiences with other organizations to tell stories that bring subject matter to life and make a lasting impact that resonates with participants.
  • Consulting– Relationship building, influence, conflict resolution, network and connecting others, persuasive, communication, forward thinkingYou are confident in your ability to consult with both internal and external Partners to help drive sustainable outcomes and measurable impact.
  • Mentoring– Offer support and guidance for employees across CIBC includingTalentDevelopment Team; workalongsideLeadershipteam to build capability and prepare our learning team for the future; mentorship of team members Role model client champion behaviors, share stories and experiences, advocate for CIBC as an employer of choice with internal and external networks.

Experience: 7+ years of experience.

Must Have Skills:

  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders from varied backgrounds, differingprioritiesand over which you do not have direct authority.
  • Ability to understand issues and concepts related to new and evolving business needs; can get up to speed quickly with regard to new subject matters and able to deal with changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational skills, sufficienttothedelivery ofinitiatives across business and organizational lines.
  • Ability to manage workload in an ambiguous environment while under tight timelines.
  • Problem solving skills sufficient to analyze information and formulate responses to problems and issues.
  • Communication and interactive skills to convey factual and conceptual information on issues requiring detailed explanation / interpretation and communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication andpresentation skills.
  • Demonstrate experience in multiple lines of business with good business acumen, as well as expertise in consulting and facilitating complex solutions to various audiences across multiple mediums and LOBs with excellence andautonomy.
