Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead OEM engagement and field sales efforts in the Bengaluru region. This role is ideal for a technically adept and commercially driven professional who can manage key distributor relationships, drive business development and represent company’s innovative cable management solutions effectively in B2B markets including OEMs and large institutional customers such as railways.

Key Responsibilities

• Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key electrical distributors in the Bengaluru region.

• Field Sales & Business Development: Drive B2B field sales activities, achieve revenue targets, and expand market share for Icotek products.

• Key Account Management (KAM): Engage with missionary customers, OEMs, and railway segment stakeholders to secure business and grow long-term partnerships.

• Technical Selling & Consultative Support: Understand and communicate technical product benefits (cable entry systems, split cable glands, etc.) to address customer needs and improve solution adoption.

• Customer Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals to customers and channel partners.

• Territory Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies and territory plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.

Candidate Profile Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) – mandatory Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in field sales, distributor management, or key account management within electrical products or component accessories industry.

Industry Background:

• Experience in electrical components, cable accessories, or related industrial product sales is highly preferred.

Languages:

• English: Excellent communication • Regional Languages: Kannada, Tamil, Telugu (advantageous due to market coverage)

Age:

• Preferably 32–40 years
