Position: AVP-Product Process Engineer -Baby Diapers
Experience: 10-15 years
Location: Moraiya
Qualification: Mechanical / Polymer
Salary: 24-30 LPA
Employee Strength: 200+
Office time: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (6 days)
Role Purpose
To lead the end-to-end technical development of diapers by:
- Improving absorbency, softness, leakage protection, and fit
- Optimizing raw material composition (SAP, pulp, non-woven, elastic, ADL)
- Selecting and upgrading diaper machinery lines
- Driving innovation through factory collaboration (China + India)
- Ensuring world-class quality at competitive cost
Job Description
- Product Construction & Technical Development
- Define diaper construction architecture
- Conduct product benchmarking against global brands.
- Develop differentiated technical features.
- Machinery & Production Line Expertise
Evaluate and select:
- Fully automatic diaper lines
- Semi-automatic lines
- Work with Chinese OEM machinery suppliers.
- Lead installation and commissioning of new lines.
- Factory Collaboration (China & Other Countries)
Approve:
- Raw materials
- Process parameters
- QC checkpoints
4. Raw Material Expertise for Diaper 5. Quality & Testing Standards
Establish internal diaper testing lab protocols:
- Absorbency test
- Rewet test
- Strike-through time
- Leakage simulation
- Ensure compliance with:
- BIS
- Global baby safety norms
- Develop product quality SOPs.
6. Innovation & Competitive Benchmarking7. Cost Engineering
Drive design-to-cost approach.
Experience:
- 10-15+ years in:
- Diaper manufacturing
- Experience working with Chinese factories
- Exposure to diaper line manufacturers
Must-Have Skills:
- Deep diaper construction knowledge
- Machinery line technical expertise
