Summary

In new product design roles: develops and programs integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments. Develops and communicates descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights/algorithms. In product/systems improvement projects: uses machine language and statistical modeling techniques such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis and others to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve product/system performance, quality, data management and accuracy. In both theoretical development environments and specific product design, implementation and improvement environments, uses current programming language and technologies to translate algorithms and technical specifications into code. Completes programming and implements efficiencies, performs testing and debugging. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Applies deep learning technologies to give computers the capability to visualize, learn and respond to complex situations. Adapts machine learning to areas such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics and other products that allow users to have an interactive experience. Can work with large scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems and modeling environments.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Sr Developer Relations Engineer to help drive adoption, and success for Adobe’s Unified Extensibility Platform (UXP). In this role, you’ll support developers integrating with a wide set of Creative Cloud applications such as , or , ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and support needed to deliver outstanding experiences.

As a key member of the Developer Experience team, you’ll collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and community teams to continually improve the developer journey. You’ll be the bridge between internal teams and the global developer community. 

About UXP

UXP is Adobe’s modern framework for building secure, high-performance plugins across Creative Cloud desktop applications. UXP enables developers to use familiar web technologies to create powerful, integrated experiences. Guiding developers through the migration of their solutions to UXP is an essential responsibility of this role. 

What You’ll Do

  • Be a domain expert in Adobe extensibility platforms, APIs, and developer workflows.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and engaging documentation and sample code.
  • Engage with the developer community through forums, office hours, events, and direct support, advocating for both our platform and our developers.
  • Support onboarding and migration of external developers to Adobe platforms, including guidance on tooling, submission, review processes, and migration to UXP.
  • Gather developer feedback and insights, acting as the voice of the community in internal product discussions.
  • Track and triage developer issues from multiple channels, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze support metrics and community engagement to optimize resources and identify new opportunities for impact.

  • Passion for creating and maintaining excellent documentation and technical content that empowers developers.
  • Strategic mentality with the ability to see the big picture and align community efforts with platform goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting or building developer communities, ideally for software platforms or ecosystems.
  • Strong empathy and commitment to developer success, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • 5+ years of development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks and proficiency with Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with Creative Cloud applications and plugin development is a plus.
