Requirements

Business Development Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries and geographic regions
• Drive new business development initiatives by introducing solutions for existing applications and identifying new use cases for offered products
• Understand customer technical requirements and propose customized commercial and engineering solutions
• Work closely with design, production, and R&D teams to develop new applications, processes, and product improvements
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend studies to support strategic business decisions
• Provide technical support during client meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and trials
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent follow-ups to close projects successfully
• Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and growth targets

Qualifications & Skill Set

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Production Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or marketing of industrial products such as valves, pumps, piping, compressors, or related equipment
• Strong understanding of industrial processes and product applications
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Willingness to travel frequently for business development activities
