Key Skills Required:

• Expertise in Autodesk Plant 3D (P3D) and related CAD tools.
• Knowledge P3D databases (SQLite / SQL Server).
• Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, EN, ANSI, ISO).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

P3D Admin Roles and Responsibilities:

• P3D Project set-up and managing multiuser/multi project with same database (SQLite / SQL Server).
• Establish project folder structures, naming conventions, and access controls.
• Define and configure specs, catalogues, and standards according to project requirements.
• Manage project units, coordinate systems, and plant hierarchy (Area/Unit/Zone).
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles.
• Control read/write/edit privileges for different disciplines.
• Resolve user access issues.
• Prepare and maintain Piping Material Specs (PMS) and component catalogues.
• Upload and update vendor data for valves, fittings, instruments etc.
• Ensure consistency between 3D model components and project specifications.
• Configure drawing templates, title blocks, and annotation styles.
• Set up isometric extraction settings (ISO style, dimensioning, reports).
• Manage orthographic drawing templates.
• Act as the single point of contact between project disciplines and IT support for P3D.
• Coordinate with project leads, IT for smooth execution.
