Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant – Neonatologist located at our Hosur facility. The Consultant – Neonatologist will manage and provide advanced medical care for newborns, including critically ill neonates, in the NICU setting. Responsibilities involve diagnosis, treatment, and care of preterm and critically ill infants, providing guidance to medical staff, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to the highest standards of neonatal care. The role also includes engaging with families to ensure comprehensive understanding and support for the care of their newborns.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care
- Proficiency in Newborn Care and Pediatrics
- Strong medical knowledge and experience in administering advanced neonatal treatments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- MD/DNB in Pediatrics with a fellowship or specialization in Neonatology – With experience
- DM/DrNB in Neonatology – Freshers also will be fine
- Prior experience in a NICU environment is highly desirable
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent counseling skills for engaging with families
- Proven ability to provide evidence-based care and ensure the highest medical standards
