This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Online Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher to teach students following the UK National Curriculum and international programmes. The role involves delivering high-quality online lessons in Mathematics and GCSE Computer Science, ensuring strong conceptual understanding, and supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience teaching both subjects online, confidence using digital teaching tools, and hands-on experience with a pen tablet (pentab) for effective virtual instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online Mathematics lessons for 11+, SATs, GCSE, IGCSE, IB, and AS/A Levels
- Teach GCSE Computer Science (Edexcel, AQA, and OCR)
- Plan structured, curriculum-aligned lesson plans and exam-focused revision sessions
- Use a pen tablet (pentab) to explain mathematical concepts and problem-solving clearly
- Teach core Computer Science topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems
- Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback
- Support students with exam preparation, coursework, and concept clarity
- Maintain accurate student performance and attendance records
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics and Computer Science
- Strong knowledge of UK Maths and GCSE Computer Science curricula
- Mandatory online teaching experience with a pen tablet (pentab)
- Experience delivering live online / virtual classes
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or pseudocode
- Familiarity with UK exam boards (Edexcel / AQA / OCR)
- Excellent communication and virtual classroom management skills
