Deputy Manager – Costing

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain product costing sheets, including raw materials, labor, and overheads.
• Analyze variances between standard and actual costs, and report findings to management.
• Support pricing decisions by providing cost-based insights.
• Assist in monthly closing activities related to costing and inventory valuation.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to track material consumption and wastage.
• Prepare MIS reports on cost analysis, profitability, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• ICWA/Inter CA/CA
• 4–7 years of experience in costing, preferably in manufacturing/ceramics/tiles industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems.
• Costing system development shall be added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, cost models).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
