Position Summary
The incumbent should be based out of Delhi and is responsible to source revenue (project acquisition, grants and business) to the organization, provide Policy / Strategy / Project Consulting services to clients of GRAAM, plan and spearhead academic activities (fellowships / training / workshops) and build and sustain partnerships. Take care of policy communications with the support of the team and play a key role in policy engagements. Serve as an overall location head of norther region operations of GRAAM

Ph D will be an advantage and considered on priority
Skill Requirements
- Broad understanding of the development sector and cross cutting social & economic issues
- Proven ability of building partnerships, Grant sourcing, Project acquisition and Action Research projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Detailed understanding of the Corporate Social Responsibility Landscape
- Ability to write / lead Vision / Strategy / Plan Document development
- Training and Academic Program Planning and Management
- Preparation and Submission of Project Proposals / Bids
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
IT Skills
- MS Office, Google Workspace, Application / Leveraging AI for executing the work
- Project Management Software (GRAAM uses its own Project Management Platform)
Experience
Minimum 08 years in Development / Consulting Sector
At least 05 years in similar positions or functions
Description of Duties / Responsibilities
Primary
- Having Clear Strategy and Execution Plan for Partnership Development and Grant Acquisition, Plan Academic and Capacity Development Initiatives
- Correspondence with the internal team and research target groups to execute assigned activities
- Lead the Academic – Fellowship – Capacity Building Programs as per the plan
- To closely work with Research and Program verticals of the organization in carrying out designated / future activities
- To meet and represent GRAAM with partner organizations/clients as and when required at various stages – Excellent presentation skills
- Approaching Corporates/ Govt Departments/ Consulting and International Agencies for new Projects and revenue generation.
- Developing networks with National, International, Bi-lateral and multilateral agencies.
- Ensure Developing and Dissemination of knowledge materials such as (Bi-Monthly CSR New digest etc) which could serve as a support / complement other deliverables.
- Leading / writing Strategic Consulting Projects such as Vision Documents – Policy Documents – Strategy Documents – OD plan etc (with the inputs from in-house domain experts – consultants and/or independently)
- Working with Communication Team in planning and implementing knowledge dissemination activities such as Webinars / Workshops / Conference etc on CSR/Research/Consulting/Contemporary issues
- Developing and Organizing Training / Conferences / Workshops as revenue as well as profile building measures
- Sourcing Consultants and service providers for extending GRAAM’s activities and reach
KEY RESULT AREA
- Acquiring Research & Evaluation, Strategic Consulting, implementation (Action Research) Projects through Direct Partnership Efforts – 50% Time
- Planning and Implementing Academic Programs (Trainings / workshops / conferences / fellowship) – 50% Time
KRA 1: Revenue Generation & Strategic Partnerships (50%)
Goal: To ensure the financial sustainability and growth of GRAAM’s Northern operations.
Key Result Area (KRA) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Annual Revenue Target • Achievement of ₹ 5 Crores in committed revenue through grants, consulting contracts, and service agreements within the fiscal year.
- New Partner Acquisition • Onboarding of at least 10 new high‑value partners (National/International Corporates, Multilateral agencies, or Govt departments).
- Pipeline Management • Maintenance of a healthy “Prospect Pipeline” valued at 3x the annual target ( ₹ 15 Cr+) at any given time.
- Strategic Networking • Conduct at least 3 high‑level in‑person meetings per month with CSR Heads, Secretary‑level Govt officials, or Country Directors of NGOs.
- Strategic Communication • Lead strategic communication leveraging social media and other channels with the team’s support.
KRA 2: Strategic Consulting & Policy Engagement (20%)
Goal: To position GRAAM as a premier thought leader and advisory partner.

- High‑Level Consulting • Successful delivery of at least 4 major strategic documents (Vision Docs, Policy Strategy) annually.
- Policy Advocacy • Facilitate at least 2 high‑impact policy roundtables or webinars annually on contemporary developmental issues.
- Knowledge Dissemination • Ensure 100% timely release of the Bi‑Monthly CSR News Digest and other regional knowledge products.
KRA 3: Academic and Fellowship Programs (15%)
Goal: To strengthen GRAAM’s academic footprint and human capital development.

- Fellowship Oversight • Successful leadership of National Fellowship Activities and initiation of capacity building
- Revenue‑Linked Trainings • Execute at least 4 revenue‑generating capacity building workshops or training programs annually.
