Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior API Developer to join our dynamic team working on cutting-edge financial applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and hibernate, with a strong understanding of scalable and secure backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs for financial applications.
– Architect and implement microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
– Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of backend services.
– Optimize and refactor existing codebases for better performance and maintainability.
– Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
– Integrate with third-party services and financial data providers.
– Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– Strong proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot framework.
– Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
– Solid understanding of Hibernate and JPA for ORM.
– Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker.
– Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in financial applications.
– Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech domains.
– Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
– Understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
