Job Description:

About the Role

We are building an integrated early childhood platform supporting children aged 0-3 years through structured developmental tracking, parent education, and coaching.

We are looking for pediatricians who want to move beyond routine fever-cough-vaccination practice and contribute to preventive, developmental, and parent-guidance-driven care.

This role combines:

  • Medical oversight
  • Developmental vigilance
  • Parent education
  • System building

Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive & Developmental Surveillance

  • Guide age-appropriate growth and nutrition monitoring
  • Support developmental surveillance aligned with:
  • American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines
  • World Health Organization growth standards
  • UNICEF early childhood frameworks
  • Identify red flags in:
  • Motor development
  • Language
  • Social responsiveness
  • Feeding and sleep concerns

2. Parent Education Sessions

Conduct structured sessions on:

  • Infant sleep myths vs physiology
  • Feeding transitions (breastfeeding solids family food)
  • Screen exposure in early years
  • Fever management at home
  • Antibiotic overuse awareness
  • When to worry vs when to observe

Tone: Calm, evidence-based, non-alarmist.

3. Escalation & Referral Pathways

  • Build clear referral systems for:
  • Developmental Pediatricians
  • Speech therapists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Pediatric neurologists
  • Help design “monitor vs intervene” decision trees.

4. Platform & Systems Role

  • Review health-related content for accuracy
  • Contribute to structured checklists for 0-3 years
  • Help create standard operating protocols for:
  • Common illnesses
  • Minor injuries
  • Growth faltering
  • Support AI-driven triage logic (without replacing clinical judgment)

Ideal Candidate

  • MD/DNB Pediatrics
  • Comfortable with teleconsultation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Preventive-care mindset
  • Balanced medical judgment (not over-investigative, not dismissive)

Good to Have

  • Experience in early intervention follow-up clinics
  • Exposure to high-risk infant care
  • Interest in developmental pediatrics
  • Experience working with urban working families

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a 60-patient-per-day OPD
  • Not a vaccination-only clinic
  • Not emergency pediatrics
  • Not hospital shift work

Impact

  • Move from reactive medicine to preventive developmental care
  • Reduce parental anxiety through structured guidance
  • Detect concerns earlier without over-medicalizing
  • Help build a trusted medical backbone for a 0-3 ecosystem
