Role OverviewWe are looking for a Jewellery Designer with strong design fundamentals and commercial awareness to support international customers across the US, UK, and Europe.The designer will work within a team-based structure, where each team is responsible for dedicated customers, ensuring focused design development, faster execution, and alignment with customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities • Develop commercial jewellery designs aligned with US, UK, and European market trends • Work within a dedicated customer design team, collaborating closely with Senior Designers, CAD, merchandisers, sales, and production teams • Translate customer briefs, reference images, and trend inputs into design concepts and sketches • Support Senior Designers in collection development and seasonal planning • Coordinate with CAD and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy • Assist in preparing design presentations, sample briefs, and customer submissions • Ensure designs meet cost, quality, metal, stone, and manufacturing requirements • Track design timelines and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks • Stay updated on global jewellery, fashion, and retail trends • Participate in international exhibitions, customer meetings, and retail store visits when required, for market exposure and learning
Required Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in fine jewellery design • Basic to strong understanding of US, UK, and European market preferences • Experience working in a team-based design environment • Good skills in hand sketching and coordination with CAD teams (Rhino/Matrix knowledge preferred) • Understanding of manufacturing processes, metal properties, and stone settings • Ability to work on multiple design tasks under guidance and deadlines • Strong communication and coordination skills
