Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is a comprehensive, integrated suite of enterprise applications for managing business operations, including finance. Built on Oracle Database and leveraging a unified architecture, it enables organizations to streamline processes and improve decision-making across the enterprise.

Core responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of EBS application projects and BAU support (including upgrades, patches, customizations, integrations, and enhancements) from the India delivery center.
  • Partner with the NA Technology Manager to jointly define delivery roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, allocate resources, and manage dependencies across regions.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives and IT governance standards.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs (e.g., SLA adherence, incident resolution time, project milestones, defect rates).
  • Extend delivery leadership to adjacent platforms such asRPA (UiPath)andServiceNow SPM, collaborating with global teams to advance automation, governance, and portfolio management maturity.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of functional consultants, technical developers, DBAs, and QA engineers (around 10 FTEs).
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and skill-gap analysis.

Global Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EBS delivery in India; coordinate daily/weekly sync-ups with NA counterpart (including time-zone overlap coverage).
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, issues, and escalations to global stakeholders (Business Leads, Product Owners, IT Leadership).
  • Facilitate joint design/review sessions across regions and ensure knowledge continuity.

Technical & Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure adherence to Oracle EBS best practices, security standards, and release management protocols.
  • Drive modernization initiatives (e.g., EBS to Cloud migration, automation, DevOps adoption).
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL.

Process & Governance:

  • Contribute to global process harmonization (e.g., SDLC, testing, documentation).
  • Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and data privacy requirements.
  • Continuously optimize delivery models (e.g., Agile/Waterfall hybrid, nearshore-onsite coordination).

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (masters preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least5 years managing Oracle EBS delivery teams.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale EBS implementations, upgrades (e.g., R12.1 to R12.2), and integrations (e.g., with SOA, OIC, or cloud apps).
  • Strong understanding of EBS modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, HCM) functionalandtechnical (PL/SQL, Forms/Reports, OAF, APIs).
  • Experience managing distributed teams across India and North America/EMEA.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, Jira/ServiceNow, and DevOps tools.

Preferred:

  • Oracle EBS certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, EBS Financials/SCM).
  • Experience with EBS-to-Cloud migration (e.g., Fusion, Cloud SCM/ERP).
  • Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or CMMI frameworks.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
  • Have an understanding of Automation using RPA tools like Ui Path and MS Power Automate.
  • Aware of Service Now Portfolio Management.
