Role Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriting Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about writing, branding, and storytelling. The intern will support the creative team in developing engaging, original, and high-quality content across multiple platforms while learning how to align communication with brand voice, tone, and marketing objectives.
You will work closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to interpret briefs, generate ideas, and deliver content within defined timelines and processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Understanding & Alignment
- Assist in interpreting creative briefs to understand brand requirements, identity, and target audience.
- Learn and apply brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines across all written communication.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand values and positioning.
2. Content Creation
- Support the team in creating original and engaging content across platforms.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and creative discussions.
- Adapt writing style based on platform and audience requirements.
3. Copywriting Support
Assist in writing and drafting copy for:
- Advertisements
- Product descriptions
- Website content
- Social media posts
- Email campaigns
- Blog articles
- Scripts and basic storyboards
4. Editing & Proofreading
- Proofread content for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
- Make revisions based on feedback from supervisors.
- Ensure consistency in tone and messaging.
5. Research
- Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
- Gather insights to support content development.
- Stay updated with emerging content and social media trends.
6. Time Management
- Support the team in meeting internal turnaround times (TATs).
- Manage assigned tasks efficiently under guidance.
7. Operations & Process Adherence
- Follow internal SOPs and creative processes.
- Maintain proper documentation and file organization.
Eligibility & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Literature, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of branding, advertising, or digital marketing.
- Good research and proofreading skills.
- Ability to take feedback constructively.
- Creative thinking with attention to detail.
- Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
