Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in ServiceNow CMDB (Mandatory skill) to efficiently manage and optimize IT configurations and asset data.
• Deep understanding of ITIL Framework (Mandatory skill) to align IT services with the needs of the business.
• Competency in data modeling to enhance data quality and ensure structured asset and configuration management.
• Experience working with discovery tools for real-time, accurate visibility into IT assets and infrastructure.
• Knowledge in asset lifecycle management for tracking and optimizing asset utilization and costs.
• Proficiency in change management to handle adjustments to configurations without disrupting IT services.
• Skill in configuration management for maintaining system performance and operability of IT services.
• Familiarity with API integration to facilitate seamless communication and functionality across systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement CMDB solutions that align with organizational objectives and strategy.
• Ensure accurate and real-time updating of the configuration management database.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate CMDB with other ITSM tools for streamlined processes.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve asset and configuration management practices.
• Monitor and report on CMDB performance, detecting and resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Conduct risk assessments regarding asset management changes and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain extensive documentation on processes, standards, and procedures for CMDB management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and CMDB expertise.
