Urgent requirement for the position of Instrumentation Engineer in the automation company
Experience – 3 yrs
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues in sensors, controllers, transmitters, and actuators.
Ensure calibration and functionality of instruments to maintain accuracy.
System Monitoring and Analysis
Monitor performance of instrumentation systems and address any deviations.
Analyze trends in equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Use diagnostic tools to identify potential failures and implement solutions. Installation and Commissioning Support
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new instruments and control systems.
Verify proper integration of instrumentation with process control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA).
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records. Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and system reliability.
Update technical manuals and system schematics as needed. Compliance and Safety
Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and implement fail-safes. Follow protocols to handle hazardous materials or environments.
Spare Parts Management
Manage inventory of spare parts and order replacements when necessary.
Ensure availability of critical components to reduce downtime. Team Coordination
Work collaboratively with operations, electrical, and mechanical teams to resolve issues. Train operators and technicians on basic instrument handling and troubleshooting.
Key Skills and Competencies In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
Expertise in calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques.
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, ANSI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to precision. Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
