Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in cloud data platforms and analytics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data migration, SQL, and modern data engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Support and lead Synapse to Databricks migration activities.
• Understand existing data pipelines, dataflows, and architecture, and contribute to migration planning.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts as required.
• Work with data engineers to build and maintain data models and ensure data accuracy.
• Create functional and technical documentation for business requirements and data workflows.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve system performance and data processes.

Technical Skills Required

• Azure Synapse Migration experience
• Databricks (Notebooks, Delta Lake, ETL/Data Pipelines)
• SQL (Advanced queries, performance tuning)
• Data Modelling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical Models)
• Understanding of data lake architectures and cloud data ecosystems

Good to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
