Job Description:Key Responsibilities
Simultaneously lead and manage 3 to 5 strategic projects of varying scope, scale, and complexity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.Oversee the complete project lifecycle adhering to the organization’s structured Stage Gate process.Continuously learn, apply, and advocate for the organization’s Stage Gate methodologies, ensuring consistent and effective project governance across all initiatives.Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams located across global sites, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve project milestones and deliverables.Provide clear and timely communication of project status, risks, dependencies, and critical issues to stakeholders, leadership, and functional teams.Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to Project Charters, Detailed Project Plans, Risk Registers, Gate Exit Reports, and Closure Reports.Facilitate key project meetings, including working sessions, status updates, and formal Gate Exit reviews, ensuring stakeholder engagement and decision-making readiness.Proactively identify and manage project risks, collaborating with relevant functions to develop mitigation strategies and minimize business impact.Escalate unresolved risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders and leadership levels, ensuring timely intervention and resolution.Design and present dynamic project dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel to provide real-time visibility into project health and performance metrics.Champion continuous improvement tools, applying structured problem-solving techniques and lean principles to enhance project execution and deliverable quality.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Mechanical or similar discipline)PMP Certification with Project Management Institute (PMI), preferred.Certified Six Sigma Green Belt/Yellow Belt professional (Good to have)5-8 Years experience in leading strategic projects, such as NPD/VAVE/PLS, within manufacturing sectorExperience working with industrial components/equipment such as couplings, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, clutches, brakes etc. would be preferredExperience in leading projects independently, working closely with various stakeholders such as marketing/product management, operations, supply chain, engineering for various activities such as market analysis, voice of customer, ideation, feasibility analysis, business case, product design & development, validation and launch.Experience in a global/multinational organization is preferred.Ability to apply financial and business acumen to daily decisions.Proficient in analyzing and visualizing data using MS Excel and Power BI (Preferred)Ability to interpret project business caseFamiliarity with commonly used financial terms such as ROI, IRR, CAPEX, OPEX etc.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and precisely across all organizational levelsExperience with schedule tool MS Project (and others), proficient with the MS Office package.Experience with design for Lean Six Sigma, waterfall and/or agile project management is a plusExperience with DFMEA, DFM&A and Concept Selection tools is preferred.Familiarity with ERP tools such as SAP/OracleShall possess high emotional quotient and critical thinking abilityWorking knowledge with Co-Pilot and Power Automate would be a plusKey Responsibilities
