Job Summary: 

The business development for Machinery Health Monitoring (MHM) at Emerson India plays a crucial role in driving funnel & orders growth across PAN India while working & collaborating with SYSS regional sales forces. The responsibility involves leading key accounts management, customer engagement, and driving the day-to-day Business Unit orders budget and POR for the MHM business. Reporting to the Reliability Solutions (RS) Sales leader, this individual is responsible for aligning sales strategies with annual business objectives, influencing senior leadership, and providing support to regional sales force to ensure above year-over-year market rate growth. With a strong focuson booking management and resource alignment, the MHM-BDM ensures technical support, quote response coordination, pricing, and deliveries to meet the business (BU & regional team) per market requirements.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Drive the MHM business at pan India level. 

Business development; POR management, Profitability; Regional Sales Force collaboration

As MHM-BDM, You Will Focus On:

  • Multi-Technologies Vibration portfolio exposure Portable, Wireless & Online.

  • Market & competitive scenario intelligence in driving the business and customer development.

  • Drive regional sales force in achieving the targeted budget/number

  • Exposure/Experience in driving the business through LBP.

  • Exposure in working with key EPCs; OEMs & PMCs are must.

  • Lead Reliability Solutions-Machinery Health Management bookings POR, meeting and exceeding the Business Unit orders budgets. 

  • Coordinate with regional sales forces from regions to support with accounts coverage plan with technical support, that improve growth

  • Responsible for POR planning and compliance along with CRM opportunities management with regional teams.

  • Deliver booking growth and ensure major opportunities are covered and positioned for a win

  • Coordinate with regional sales forces for activities plannings which involves customers presentations, Roadshows, account assignment, and ongoing customer needs

  • Booking coordination with Legal, finance in support to concern regional team 

  • Align with all vital regional and Business Unit Checkpoint Controls.

    For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience” in engineering preferably Mechanical, Instrumentation

  • Ability in technical Sales, business Development in the field of Asset Monitoring, Vibration Monitoring with excellent track record of driving growth

  • Consistent track record of engaging with large clients and corporate houses with experience of maintaining a strong leadership connection

  • Very strong technical skills to be able to empower and engage with End Customers and Consultants 

  • Problem solver with excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and prioritization skills; highly organized and diligent

  • Excels at self-managing workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to handle conflicting priorities from customers and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to handle them effectively.

  • Key relationships:

    Internal: Direct Sales, Regional Product Heads, Business Leaders, and Support functions for business development & pursuit closure activities.
