What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

TheConsultant, Operations Transition India (L7) is responsible for supporting the execution of transition activities for the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. Under the supervision of the Transition Lead, this role assists in managing operational tasks, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth migration of services. The Consultantcontributes to risk tracking, compliance, and process improvements to support successful transitions in alignment with CIBC standards.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

Experience: 6+ years of experience

  • Assistin coordinating day-to-day transition activities for GCC projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule
  • Track and report risks, issues, and progress to the Transition Lead
  • Support change management efforts, including scheduling meetings, preparing communications, and organizing training sessions
  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation and update transition records asrequired
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, HR, Finance, Compliance, Tax) tofacilitatemigration activities
  • Ensure compliance with CIBC policies and procedures during transition activities
  • Help with resource scheduling andlogisticsfor transition projects
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives as assigned

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, operations management, or a related field is preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services operationsor project coordination, with exposure to transition or transformation initiatives
  • Goodunderstanding of business processes, operational risk management, andbasicproject management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
  • Ability to support change initiatives and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in team environments
  • Proficiencyin documentation, reporting, and use of collaboration tools
  • Adaptability to hybrid work environments and digital collaboration platforms
