We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Job Summary:
The IT Asset Management SME ensures the smooth transactions of Assets at a designated site. This includes managing the IT Asset Analysts, overseeing global projects assigned, maintaining systems and security, providing support and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, and in-depth process and technical knowledge of Asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
Define standards, sampling methods and rubrics for tickets/interactions/onsite work;execute audits and trend reporting.Run monthly quality business reviews with site leads; track CAPA closure SLAs andeliminate repeat defects.Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT End user computer assets.Track asset movements, updates, and changes in the Configuration ManagementDatabase(ServiceNow HAMPRO).Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.Oversee the entire lifecycle of end user computer assets, from procurement toretirement.Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to manage asset acquisition anddisposal.Develop and implement asset lifecycle management strategies to optimize assetutilization and reduce costs.Generate regular reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance.Identify opportunities for process improvements in asset and lifecycle management.Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Own CMDB/HAM Pro data quality governance: completeness, accuracy, timeliness;reconcile inventories and remediate exceptions.Publish utilization/compliance dashboards; support internal/external audits withevidence packs.ServiceNow (Incidents/Requests, Knowledge, Performance Analytics, HAM Pro)Endpoint mgmt: Microsoft Intune/Autopilot, ConfigMgr (SCCM)Identity/Security: Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker; MFAPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency with ServiceNow Knowledge and Reporting/Performance Analytics; strongprocess mapping skills.Experience with CMDB/HAM Pro data quality and asset/compliance reporting.Preferred Experience:
ITIL Foundation; KCS Practices; Lean/Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) a plus.Excel/Power BI; experience building scorecards and operational dashboards.What next?
