The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and creative High School Math/Physics Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2026. In this full-time role, you will:
- Deliver engaging Math and Physics lessons, including Main Lessons and skills-based classes in small engines and mathematics.
- Foster analytical thinking, creativity, and student confidence in numeracy and scientific understanding
- Integrate mathematical and scientific content with artistic and experiential learning approaches
- Create a respectful, inclusive classroom environment focused on student wellbeing
- Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate across disciplines
- Provide timely assessments and feedback aligned with NZCSE standards
- Contribute to the wider school community and seasonal celebrations
What You Bring
- Teaching qualifications recognised by the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) with current or pending registration
- Experience teaching high school Math and Physics, ideally within an interdisciplinary or holistic framework
- An interest in or willingness to engage with Steiner pedagogy
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
