Position Summary:

The DNA Technical Lead is responsible for delivering Data & Analytics projects with emphasis on the technical elements. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead a team working on multiple projects.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead who will lead a team of colleagues delivering data warehouse solutions for a diverse set of internal customers. The Technical Lead should have a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, data quality, master data management, data governance, data modeling and other related data services. Additional responsibilities of this role include the following:

• Lead the technical planning and delivery of multiple projects.
• Communicate effectively with business and IT colleagues.
• Provide fit-gap recommendations to teams when designing solutions to new requirements.
• Deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and in a way that accomplishes project goals.
• Work on simultaneous projects without sacrificing delivery.
• Ensure effective migration from development to service delivery.
• Partner with external teams for knowledge transfer in advance of migration to ADMs environment.
• Provide status updates for stakeholder reporting.
• Work with data mapping, data warehouse, master data management and data visualization teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Anticipate andidentify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily work.
• Prepare and present ideas & recommendations to colleagues and management.
• Mentor team members in their use of data ingestion, data mapping, ETL, data modeling and business intelligence tools.
• Collaborate across all Data and Analytics functions including Data Governance, Data Architecture and Service Delivery.
• Maintain team technical playbooks and Ways of Working.
• Load data into data structures using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose and other similar toolsets.
• Collaborate with reporting architects, data modelers and designers to deliver best in class data and reporting solutions.
• Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.

Education Qualification & Skill Requirements:

• 4-year Bachelors degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Programming,Business Analytics, Mathematical or related field
• 9+ years of technology work experience.
• 9+ of Enterprise BI and Analyticshands-ontechnical experience implementing data warehouse and data marts in an Agile environment.
• Working knowledge of data and analytics architecture, dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, data marts and data integration best practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Databricks, SAP Datasphere, SSIS, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of ERP data models and data architectures (SAP and JDE preferred) to extract data in support of analytic product development and business transformation projects.
• Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, expert level of SQL, and working knowledge of ETL and ELT approaches,design and implementation.
• Understands and can navigate complex business source systems.
• Experience in delivering solutions using iterative development methodologies like Agile,KanBan, DevOps.
• Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka,Databricks, Hive, or equivalent is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Python ML libraries like Scikit-learn/PyTorch or Azure ML is a plus.
• Experience working in DevOps / CICD framework is a plus.
• Experience with metadata management discipline and practices using Information Steward is a plus.
