Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Agent at the Chennai Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers, handling inquiries and complaints, and ensuring a positive and efficient check-in process. Key Responsibilities: – Greet and assist passengers in a friendly and professional manner – Handle check-in and boarding procedures according to company and airline policies – Respond to passenger inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner – Maintain knowledge of flight schedules, airport facilities, and airline policies – Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely departures – Handle cash and credit card transactions for excess baggage, upgrades, and other services – Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly, and disabled individuals – Monitor flight status and make necessary announcements to passengers – Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations at all times – Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: – High school diploma or equivalent – Previous customer service experience, preferably in the airline or hospitality industry – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment – Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills – Basic computer skills and knowledge of reservation systems – Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus – Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
