What Youll Be Doing (Position Summary):
TheDirectorLearning Advisoryreporting intoHead of HR, CIBC India,is accountableforbuildingstrong relationshipswith businessleaders and HR business partnersin the designatedSBU for their portfolio.They will lead a team ofLearningAdvisors, Learning Consultants (LC), Learning Specialists,Delivery (LSD)and Sr. Specialist (Coordination)that willconsulton talent needs,understandlearningtrendsandanalyzemetricstoenable learning every day and drivebusiness results.Working closely withbusinessleadersand key stakeholders,thisrole willdrive the overall learning strategy fortheir respective SBUandsupport the development andimplementation ofacomprehensive learningplan(s)in alignment with CIBCs Learning Strategy andthe SBUsstrategic priorities.Theywill alsosupport the implementation of CIBC Enterprise learning offers andlead the development and maintenanceofNew HireOrientationPrograms applying and reinforcing design principles that will enable learners to be job-ready faster and embody a client-focused purpose.

How Youll Succeed (Responsibilities):
- UnderstandSBUscurrentand emerging business needs,prioritiesandmarket trendsin order toact withinthe business context.
- Build strong relationshipswith business leadersand HR business partnersto ensurethat the learning is deployed for priority business initiatives and to build capability for the future.
- Cultivate a strong culture of coaching toahigh-performanceteamfocused on ongoing development that is anchored in our purpose, leadership mindset and learning agility to help advance CIBCs strategy and transformation.
- Negotiate and manage timelines,funding requirements and balanceconflicting priorities and resources to ensure the learningobjectivesof theSBUare met.
- Build and co-ownannualormulti-year learningplanswith the businessalignedtoCIBC and SBU strategies, ensuringa balance of experience, exposure, and education.
- Support and guidethe execution of CIBC Learning strategy and align learning design and solutions to Talent Developments strategic imperative (Get there Faster, Make it Stick, Measure Impact).
- Championinnovative, interactive, and engaging learning, e-learning courses, and virtual programs based on performance learning objectives.
- SupportCIBCs approach to building digital leadership capabilities as well as enhancing innovative approaches to online learning.
- Develop a standard implementation plan including detailed roadmap for success with key milestones for all induction programs.
- Own and manage all induction process maps and procedures, andidentifyenterprise content.
- Establish strong internal relationshipsacross the talent developmentteamto ensure that business partners needs are fulfilled effectively and efficiently.
- Buildsponsorengagementandcommitmentfor key learning initiativesutilizingthe concepts of build, curate, and leverage.
- Influencekey stakeholderstointegrate learning solutions intochange managementplansto sustainnew / enhanced capabilities.
- Measureandmonitorthe effectiveness and alignment of programs to ensure they are meetingtheidentifiedsuccess criteria,e.g.business performance,financial outcomes.
- Support the execution of the CIBC Learning Strategybyidentifyingand championing newlearning approaches and techniques.
- Connect with a community of industry counterparts to gain exposure tolearning best practices and trends in themarket.
Experience: 12+ years of experience.

- Strong leadership anddemonstratedability to be an effective team player when leading or addressing projects / initiatives for assigned client groups.
- Ability to work closely with a wide and diverse range of groups and functional disciplines toidentifyand implement training innovations tailored to business needs.
- Proven ability to effectively present information, conveying factual and conceptual elements in business strategy discussions concerning the delivery of integrated learning solutions.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to assess organizational development / learning needs and develop,implementand evaluate programs.
- Experience with digital transformation and upskilling employees to new ways of working formaximumuser adoption.
- Proven progressive experience with applying instructional design methodologies in live, virtual, eLearning and blended environments, and the ability to link knowledge transfer with desired business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of adult education principles, expertfacilitationand presentation skills, understanding of team dynamics.
