Job Summary:
The Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the distribution network, building strong retailer relationships, and executing company strategies in the assigned territory. This role is field-based and involves extensive travel within the designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
- Ensure effective coverage of retail and wholesale outlets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists.
- Drive secondary sales and monitor stock levels at distributor points.
- Execute promotional activities and ensure visibility of products.
- Provide regular market feedback on competitor activities and customer trends.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics for timely delivery of products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and daily reports.
- Participate in product training and skill development initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably BBA, B.Com, or Science).
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG/Pharmaceutical/Wellness industry.
- Fresher candidates with good communication and motivation may also be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Basic computer skills – MS Office, email, reporting tools.
