Northfield International School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French Teacher with expertise in the IGCSE Foreign Language curriculum to inspire students in mastering global communication skills.
*Key Responsibilities*
Plan and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with the IGCSE Foreign Language curriculum
Develop students’ proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
Prepare students for IGCSE assessments, including oral examinations
Design interactive activities to enhance vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
Foster cultural awareness and appreciation of Francophone countries
Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student progress with parents
Participate in curriculum planning, school events, and professional development programs
*Requirements*
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in French / Foreign Languages or related field
Certification or training in the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching French, preferably at IGCSE level
Strong command of written and spoken French
Experience in preparing students for IGCSE examinations, including speaking assessments
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for language teaching and cross-cultural education
