Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Phlebotomist, located in Vishakhapatnam. The Phlebotomist will primarily perform tasks such as patient counseling for the blood test, drawing blood for diagnostic purposes, properly handling and labeling samples, ensuring accurate collection and documentation, and maintaining medical equipment. The role requires close coordination with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blood Collection and Laboratory Skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Assisting to effectively support healthcare services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical teams
- Certification or training in phlebotomy or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting is a plus
