The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and curious UI/UX Design Intern to join our Digital & Tech team. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to real products, work alongside experienced designers and developers, and sharpen your craft in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play an active part in shaping how users experience our product, from early wireframes to pixel-perfect interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Design & Craft
• Design wireframes and low-to-high fidelity mockups for web and mobile interfaces using Figma (mandatory).
• Maintain a comprehensive design system, including variables, variants, and reusable components to ensure visual consistency across the product.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate design intent and user flows to stakeholders and developers (a strong plus).
• Leverage Figma AI features to streamline design workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore generative design possibilities (a plus).
Quality & Improvement
• Proactively identify and document visual bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues on live products.
• Propose data-informed design improvements with clear rationale and supporting visuals.
• Plan and execute A/B tests for UI components and full pages, analysing results and iterating based on findings.
• Conduct competitor analysis by researching and evaluating rival products, identifying design trends, and surfacing opportunities to differentiate and improve our user experience.
Collaboration
• Work closely with Assistant Manager, Product Design to ensure accurate, pixel-perfect implementation of design specifications, maintain brand consistency across campaigns, landing pages, and digital assets.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and team critiques, contributing ideas and receiving constructive feedback.
Requirements :
- Proficiency in Figma Prototyping experience
- Wireframe design Experience with Figma AI
- Design systems (variables, variants, components)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Visual bug identification & improvement proposals
- Prior internship or freelance design experience
- Portfolio showcasing UI/UX work
- A/B testing for components and pages
