About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Financial Analyst who will own the books, drive the close, and partner with the CFO to bring financial discipline to a high-growth startup environment.
This is not a passive reporting role. You will be in the middle of closing, forecasting, analyzing, fixing, and scaling finance operations for a US-focused business under US GAAP.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Close (Core Ownership)
- Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close under US GAAP
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules
- Ensure clean, accurate, and audit-ready financial statements
- Drive revenue recognition, expense controls, and balance sheet hygiene
- Work directly with auditors and advisors for US audits and compliance
- Identify gaps, fix issues quickly, and continuously raise accounting quality
FP&A & Business Support
- Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections
- Perform variance analysis and clearly explain financial performance
- Create CFO-ready dashboards, management reports, and insights
- Support cash flow planning, runway analysis, and spend optimization
- Act as a finance partner to leadership as the business scales
Build & Scale
- Help design and improve finance processes for a growing company
- Bring structure, documentation, and discipline without slowing execution
- Support automation, tooling, and system improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- CA + MBA (Finance) – Strong plus
- 3–5 years of experience working with US GAAP for US-based companies
- Strong hands-on experience in book closing and core accounting
- Practical exposure to FP&A in a startup or fast-growth environment
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP/accounting system experience preferred
- High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and bias for action
