Role Description: Sales Manager – Cardiology

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager – Cardiology, based in Bangalore. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales efforts, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term relationships with clients in the cardiology sector. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, expanding customer networks, and achieving revenue targets. Collaboration with internal teams to support product development and meet with cardiologists and hospitals, and ensuring achievement of business targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of sales representatives.
  • Conduct regular field visits and joint working with the team.
  • Build strong relationships with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and hospital decision-makers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
  • Analyse competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
  • Ensure effective product launches and promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Science (MBA preferred).
  • 6–10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in the cardiology segment.
  • Prior team handling experiences preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of cardiology products and market dynamics.
  • Should have experience in intervention cardiology.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage institutional and corporate hospital accounts.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
