Deccan PU College is hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Computer Science Faculty with 3–5 years of teaching experience to deliver effective classroom instruction, enhance students’ technical knowledge, and support academic performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science for PU students as per the prescribed syllabus and academic plan
- Deliver both theory and practical/lab sessions effectively
- Train students in programming concepts such as C / C++ / Python / Java (as per syllabus)
- Guide students in topics like Computer Fundamentals, Networking, DBMS, Web Basics, and Data Structures (as applicable)
- Conduct practical exams, assignments, projects, and revision sessions
- Ensure proper lab discipline, system maintenance coordination, and safe lab practices
- Prepare question papers, conduct internal assessments, and evaluate answer scripts
- Maintain student attendance, lab records, and academic progress reports
- Mentor students for academic improvement and competitive readiness
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and college activities
Required Qualifications
- BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science) / BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (CS/IT)
- B.Ed is an added advantage
- 3–5 years of teaching experience at PU/College level
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to handle classroom + lab sessions confidently
