Role Description

The Junior IT Administrator at JIITAK will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure seamless daily operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting employees with reliable technology systems, securing company data, and enabling business continuity. The IT Admin will act as the primary point of contact for all internal IT needs, ensuring systems, networks, and tools function efficiently, securely, and with minimal downtime.

This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented professional who can handle both technical operations and user support while contributing to long-term IT strategy and digital growth initiatives at JIITAK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and internal networks
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, systems, and applications
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security controls
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data security and backups
  • Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, maintenance, and support
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards are followed
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and system records
  • Support onboarding/off boarding processes with IT setup and access control
  • Assist in IT audits and system upgrades

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator, IT Support Executive, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of networks, servers, systems, and IT infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with hardware, software, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and IT management tools is a plus
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of reliability, responsibility, and confidentiality
