McDonalds has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Global Process Owner (Franchisee Assessment). This role serves as the true owner of end-to-end process design for franchisee-related assessments, including Franchisee Health Assessment, Business Reviews, and Franchisee Training. The Director oversees day-to-day operations of teams delivering outputs to markets, partners with market and enterprise stakeholders to ensure process alignment and effectiveness, and drives global standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role is a key stakeholder in governance forums and acts as a strategic partner to Global Finance leaders to ensure accountability for process outcomes. The position will leverage outputs from the Global Franchisee Financial System (GFFS) tool to enable accurate and timely reporting and insights.

The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns global process strategy and oversight for franchisee-related assessments (e.g., Franchisee Health Assessment, Business Reviews, Franchisee Training).
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of teams delivering outputs to markets.
  • Partners with market and enterprise stakeholders to ensure process alignment and effectiveness.
  • Drives global standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement across franchisee assessment processes.
  • Monitors KPIs and ensures accountability for process outcomes.
  • Utilizes outputs from GFFS to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Supports governance forums and provides input on process priorities.
  • Maintains process documentation and supports knowledge management.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • An over all of 18+ years of experience and a minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in finance operations or process management.
  • English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4).
  • Strong understanding of franchisee assessment processes and related financial operations.
  • Familiarity with GFFS tool and ability to interpret outputs for process oversight.
  • Ability to lead global teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Skilled in process management, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communicator with strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data visualization tools.
