Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to head our SAP Application Management Services (AMS) Delivery and Practice. This role combines strategic practice leadership with hands-on delivery oversight, ensuring excellence in client engagements while shaping the growth of the SAP AMS practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP landscapes, proven delivery management in IT services organizations, and consulting acumen to drive transformation and value for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Practice Leadership
• Define and evolve the SAP AMS practice strategy, offerings, and go-to-market approach.
• Build reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators to strengthen delivery efficiency.
• Mentor and develop practice talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Delivery Management
• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP AMS engagements across multiple clients.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks.
• Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Client Engagement & Growth
• Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders.
• Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities and expand client relationships.
• Support pre-sales activities including solution design, proposals, and presentations.
• Strategic Initiatives
• Stay ahead of SAP technology trends (S/4HANA, Cloud, AI/ML integration, RISE with SAP).
• Shape digital transformation roadmaps leveraging AMS as a strategic enabler.
• Collaborate with global delivery centers to ensure scalability and consistency.

Desired Profile

• 20+ years of IT services experience, with at least 10+ years in SAP AMS delivery leadership.
• Strong background in large-scale SAP AMS programs across diverse industries.
• Consulting experience with Tier-1 or Tier-2 firms is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, drive revenue growth, and scale practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presence.
• Deep understanding of SAP ecosystem, AMS models, and emerging digital trends.

Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
