CrewSELECT are seeking an experienced Welder to join our workshop team within a business that wears many hats. If you love to tinker, problem-solve, and become a master of many trades, this is the role for you.
Role Overview:
This is not just a standard fabrication position. One day you could be restoring a classic vehicle, the next modifying a truck body, fabricating a trailer component, building a fence, or lending a hand wherever the team needs support. You will be the right-hand person the business can rely on, someone versatile, capable and ready to roll up their sleeves.
This hands-on role involves fabrication, repair, restoration and modification of trucks, restored vehicles and commercial trailers, along with general yard and workshop duties as required. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in metal fabrication, welding and vehicle body construction, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety.

Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Vehicle Body Builder or equivalent
- Proven experience working on vehicle/transport restorations
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of workshop safety practices
- Current driver’s licence (HR/MR licence desirable but not essential)
