Experience – Having solar Cell Mfg. exp of 4 to 8 years
Responsible for the operation of cell manufacturing area in terms of production, quality, cost, technical, safety, and manpower utilization, while respecting the defined goals. Manage all aspects of the shift through collaborative working with the other Shift Managers for delivering, and where possible, exceeding, the key performance indicators within the operation. Strive to continually improve using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production and quality. Act independently at the organizational level. Outcomes reviewed by organizational head. Decisions and results have an impact on the function and their success. Performance affects the function’s image.
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Knowledge of Cell manufacturing procedure is an advantage.
- Prepare the daily consumption data and forecast the requirement with respect to daily production target.
- Be responsible for production output, product quality and yield.
- Ensure safe working practices are maintained and ‘Standard Operations’.
- Manage the implementation of engineering changes, production trials, model change and pilot build.
- Ensure all external and internal auditory standards and improvement requirements are met.
- Responsible for training of operators for products and processes within the local team.
