Job Description:Key Responsibilities– Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Algosec firewall policies across enterprise environments.– Perform firewall audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.– Collaborate with network and security teams to design and implement secure architectures.– Automate firewall rule management and optimize policy workflows.– Provide technical support and resolve escalated firewall/security issues.– Document processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications– 8+ years of experience in network security and firewall engineering.– Strong hands-on expertise with Algosec Firewall Analyzer, FireFlow, and AppViz.– Proficiency in firewall platforms (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).– Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.– Experience with security compliance frameworks (ISO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.).– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications– Exposure to automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) for firewall management.– Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).– Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
