Our ClientOur client is a SA owned leading head contractor in the new build & fit out space. Our client has the unique opportunity to hand pick work and bodes a very strong pipeline of projects.
About the RoleThe Site Manager has overall responsibility for the management of a site on assigned projects and ensures that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to a high-quality standard. The Site Manager will ensure that the projects comply to all site related procedures and policies with a specific focus on the quality of work and the health and safety of all involved. Successful candidates will be responsible for achieving cost outcomes through the management of direct team and subcontractors whilst maintaining a healthy and safe work environment and committing to environment and sustainability requirements.
Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you will require:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager for a head contractor in commercial construction
- Tertiary qualifications in the building or construction industry
- An understanding of WHS in the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills to provide accurate updates of projects
- Latest knowledge of the largest building codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Great problem solving ability along with solid communication
- Demonstrable understanding of safety, health and environment best practice
The successful candidate will be offered a salary in line with the market and experience.
