Job Purpose andImpact

  • As an Application Developer, you will build, maintain,integrate and implement software applications supporting the SupplyChain Planning functional domain. In this role, you will be amember of a product team and will discover and deliver solutionsfor problems to enable the company’s digital future.  You willapply knowledge of software configuration and integration to ensuresolutions are scalable, resilient, and robust.  You will alsocontribute knowledge and hands-on experience with modern practicesand technologies to the Digital Technology & Data (DT&D)community.

    This role is expected to perform withlimited supervision and involve moderately complex softwareapplication and integration testing, quality assurance,configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stableand timely implementation of new requirements andenhancements.  This role will be focused primarily onintegrations with the SAP IBP solution and will be part of aproduct team dedicated to this overall solution across Cargill’senterprises.

KeyAccountabilities

  • APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Sets up andmaintains SAP IBP application and its integration configurations tomeet user and business requirements while developing andrecommending improvements to standard and moderately complexapplication support processes and procedures.
  • APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Performsdesign, analysis, configuration, testing and deployment of newintegrations, configurations, enhancements and at times fixes forSAP IBP integrations and application as required.
  • USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Keeps an open channelof communication with end users and internal stakeholders andresponds to standard and moderately complex application supportrequests and needs.
  • APPLICATION SUPPORT:Conducts advanced and complex application support activities, inconjunction with support team members, to deliver businessoutcomes.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Works withmulti-functional teams, including application analysts, productmanagers, support team and business partners to ensure integrationsand configurations align with standards and projectgoals.
  • APPLICATION DOCUMENTATION: Ensuresconfiguration and integration processes, settings, rules, filters,etc. are documented and continually updated.
  • KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: Maintains and shares relevanttechnical approaches and modern skills with SAP IBP and itsintegration options and evolving capabilities.
  • PROBLEM SOLVING: Independently solve moderately complexissues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complexissues to appropriate team members.
  • Otherduties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field orequivalent experience.
  • Confirmed experienceworking with SAP IBP, knowledge of architecture, data model, andintegration technologies, in particular CI-DS.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing/supporting SAP IBP integrations in complex businessenvironments.
  • Experience with various SAP IBPmodules (e.g., Demand, Response & Supply, Inventory, Sales& Operations Planning) is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programminglanguage, preferably SAP ABAP.
  • Minimum of fouryears of related work experience.
  • Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.
  • Excellent documentationskills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Multiple experiences developing and deploying SAP IBPintegrations utilizing CI-DS technology with SAP ECC, SAP S/4, andnon-SAP solutions.
    • Experience with SAP IBP RTIand/or SDI integrations or experience with SAP APO CIFtechnology.
    • SAP IBP and associated integrationtechnologies certifications
    • Knowledge of Agileproject management methodologies
