Software Engineer – ERP

Job Purpose andImpact

• TheProfessional, Software Engineering job maintains and partners todesign and develop software applications and systems. With limitedsupervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams toimplement new software features to meet user needs and businessgoals and upgrade existing software to improve performance andfunctionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable codeand troubleshooting and debugging moderately complex issues. Thisjob also participates in code reviews to maintain high code qualityand share knowledge with software engineering team members.

KeyAccountabilities

• SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Partners to design and develophigh quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable andefficient codes.
• AUTOMATION: Appliesinternal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools toautomate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliablereleases.
• COLLABORATION: Partners with crossfunctional team of product managers, designers and other engineersto gather moderately complex requirements and deliver solutionsthat meet business needs.
• TESTING &DEBUGGING: Writes and maintains moderately complex unit tests andintegration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the qualityand performance of the software.
• CONTINUOUSIMPROVEMENT: Makes suggestions for improving the softwaredevelopment and deployment processes, and implements the approvedstandards to improve efficiency and reliability.
• DOCUMENTATION: Drafts and maintains comprehensivedocumentation for moderately complex software applications,deployment processes and system configurations.
• TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support andtroubleshooting for moderately complex issues with deployedapplications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevantwork experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevantexperience.
• Proficient of SAP ABAP,understanding of SAP system architecture.
• Experience in SAP new RAP, CAP, business APIHub
• Data analysis and visualization tools:Experience with tools like SAP Fiori, Power BI
• Other Programming languages: Experience in Python, JAVA,and SQL.
• Cloud platform knowledge:Understanding of cloud-based ERP solutions and platforms like AWS,Azure, and Google Cloud.
