Principal, Platform Engineering – DigitalIntegration

Job Purpose andImpact

• TheAdvisor, Platform Engineering job leads designing, developing andmaintaining digital technology infrastructure to supportinformation technology applications and services. As a recognizedsubject matter authority in platform engineering, this job leadsand advises cross functional teams to define, design and implementnew features to meet user needs and business goals and upgradeexisting platforms to improve performance and functionality throughwriting clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting anddebugging highly complex issues. This job also leads code reviewsto maintain high code quality and advance platform engineeringteams’ capabilities.

KeyAccountabilities

• Technical Leadership &Strategy: Create long-term Integration Strategyand Roadmap, Define and implement Integration patterns &standards
• TechnologyEvaluation: Research, evaluate, and adoptemerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhanceintegration capabilities
• Solution Architecture: Designscalable and reusable middleware components, including APIgateways, message brokers, iPaas and application servers
• InfrastructureManagement: Deploy, manage and monitorintegration solutions to ensure high availability, optimalperformance and minimal downtime
• Governance &Standards: Establish and enforce bestpractices, security measures, and documentation standards formiddleware platforms
• Collaboration &Leadership: Ability to work across teams,mentor engineers, and communicate technical strategies tostakeholders.
• Experience: Substantialexperience in multiple middleware technologies for architecturedesign, software development and system administration in bothcloud-native and hybrid environments
• Systems Thinking: Ability to evaluate,design and maintain future ready, secure, scalable digitalintegration solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 8 years of relevantwork experience. Typically reflects 12 years or more of relevantexperience.
