Asa Substation Lead Civil / Structural Engineer, you will be involvedin:
- The candidate willfunction as a Lead Engineer, providing technical leadership acrossprojects, conducting and overseeing design reviews, establishingengineering standards, and mentoring and developing juniorengineering staff. The role includes active participation in bidstrategy, proposal development, and technical solutionpositioning.
- This role will serve as theResponsible Engineer and technical authority on major clientprojects, directing engineering execution, coordinatingmultidisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality control and technicalexcellence across all designdeliverables.
- Serve as a primary clientinterface for technical matters, leading kick-off meetings,technical presentations, and lunch-and-learn sessions, whilebuilding and maintaining strong clientrelationships.
- Accountable for ensuringcompliance with quality management systems, safe work practices,and adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget expectations.Proactively manage technical risk and drive corrective actions whenneeded.
- Act as a senior technical leader withina multidisciplinary design team consisting of engineers, designers,and drafting technicians, setting direction, delegatingresponsibilities, and fostering a culture of collaboration,accountability, and continuousimprovement.
WhatSets You Apart (Background Requirements):
- 4+ years of prior relevantexperience
- Bachelor of Science Engineeringdiscipline, preferably in Civil-Structural Engineering. Additionalrelevant experience may be considered in lieu of adegree.
- Experience with MicrosoftWord/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCADsoftware
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA 3D,FAD Tools, SAFE, SAG10, and LPILEsoftware
- Familiarity with AutoCAD andMicroStation
- Strong analytical and technicalwriting skills
- Team player with ability tocommunicate with clients and staff
- Willingnessto travel, up to25%
