MinimumQualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, ComputerScience, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering orrelated work experience. ORMaster’s degree inEngineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or relatedfield and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related workexperience. ORPhD in Engineering, InformationSystems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of SystemsEngineering or related workexperience.
PreferredQualifications:
• Master’s Degree inEngineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or relatedfield.
• 8+ years of SystemsEngineering or related workexperience.
• 4+ years of 4G/5G/6G systems andassociated cellular standards (e.g., 3GPP NR, LTE, LTE,3G).
• 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixedorganization.
• 1+year of work experience in a rolerequiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Staff levelandabove).
PrincipalDuties andResponsibilities:
• Leverages advanced Systemsknowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate,and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture,algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirementsand standards aremet.
• Performs complex functionalanalysis to drive requirements and specifications and to define andalign with standards for hardware andsoftware.
• Develops and analyzes complexsystem level design including requirements, interface definition,functional/performance definition, andimplementation of a new system or modification of an existingsystem.
• Collaborates with cross-functionalteams (e.g., product management teams, engineering teams, etc.) tocomplete project work, including implementing and verifying thesystem.
• Develops algorithms and works onnew and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or featurearea.
• Drives triage of complex problemsat the system level to determine root cause and presents results oftesting and debugging to internal and externalstakeholders.
LevelofResponsibility:
• Works independently with minimalsupervision.
• Provides supervision/guidance toother teammembers.
• Decision-making may affect workbeyond immediate workgroup.
• Requires verbal and writtencommunication skills to convey complex information. May requirenegotiation, influence, tact,etc.
• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizationaldecisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make keydecisions).
• Tasks do not have defined steps;planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur tocomplete the taskseffectively.
