Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urological conditions affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, and reproductive organs.
- Perform urological surgeries including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open procedures.
- Conduct procedures such as TURP, PCNL, URS, cystoscopy, prostate surgeries, and other minimally invasive interventions.
- Manage urological emergencies including acute urinary retention, renal colic, and trauma cases.
- Provide pre-operative evaluation and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure comprehensive post-operative care and follow-up.
- Manage complications related to urological conditions and surgeries.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement programs, and academic activities where applicable.
Qualifications And Requirements
- MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery.
- MCh/DNB in Urology (or equivalent recognized super-specialty qualification).
- Valid medical license to practice.
- Board certification preferred.Minimum 1 years of post-super-specialty experience.
