Urologist

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urological conditions affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, and reproductive organs.
• Perform urological surgeries including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open procedures.
• Conduct procedures such as TURP, PCNL, URS, cystoscopy, prostate surgeries, and other minimally invasive interventions.
• Manage urological emergencies including acute urinary retention, renal colic, and trauma cases.
• Provide pre-operative evaluation and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Ensure comprehensive post-operative care and follow-up.
• Manage complications related to urological conditions and surgeries.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement programs, and academic activities where applicable.

Qualifications And Requirements

• MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery.
• MCh/DNB in Urology (or equivalent recognized super-specialty qualification).
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Board certification preferred.Minimum 1 years of post-super-specialty experience.
